Thank You to Genex Cooperative, Inc.
Genex Cooperative Inc, with it's Canadian office based in Guelph, Ontario has donated 10 units of conventional semen on any bull available in Canada in the 2011 Beef Genetic Management Guide to the Debbie Sanderson Benefit Live Auction being held on April 2nd in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island. For more information on the entire Genex bull lineup, visit http://genex.crinet.com/beef/
A fundraising event is being held to raise money for Debbie Sanderson who requires a double lung transplant. Debbie is the wife of Randy Sanderson of Spud Island Farms in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Randy and Debbie have 3 children, Tricia (1st year university), Jaclyn (grade 12), and Dereck (grade 10) who are involved in the 4H program showing market steers and heifers as well as showing Simmental cattle.
Randy and Debbie will be moving to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in mid April so Debbie can be close to a hospital that specializes in this type of transplant. The distance between Edmonton and Cornwall is almost 5000 kilometres or a little over 3000 miles.
For more information on the Debbie Sanderson Benefit Auction, there is an event created on facebook listed as Benefit Dance and Live Auction for Debbie Sanderson.
