It's Been a Heifer of a January

Here's how our calving has gone so far by sire in alphabetical order.  This is also a preview of our September 14th sale offering.

Boardwalk: 1 heifer.

Eye Candy: 6 bulls, 2 heifers.

Flex: 1 bull, 1 heifer.

Highliner: 2 bulls, 1 heifer.

Mercedes Benz: 1 bull, 1 heifer.

Monopoly: 1 bull, 4 heifers.

Tombstone: 1 heifer.

Walks Alone: 2 bulls, 1 heifer.

Breeding is now under way with Boardwalk, Eye Candy, Monopoly, Thriller, Unstoppable, and Walks Alone in use so far.

Highliner Heifer Calf Results from Wheatley River Farm

Logan Ford of Wheatley River Farm had a very great show season with his Highliner heifer calf.

She was Logan’s 4-H heifer calf and the calf is sired by Highliner.

She was shown at the PEI Old Home Week Commercial shown and was Champion Calf.

At the 4-H Rural Youth Fair, in Crapaud, she was Champion Commercial Female and Champion beef heifer.

She was the 1^st place pick heifer for the National Junior Beef Heifer show at the RAWF.

Logan and his calf showed at the NB Beef Expo and she was named Champion heifer calf. He showed her

In the NB Beef Expo Junior Show and was named Reserve Champion Heifer.

She was shown at the Maritime Fall Fair and was Champion Heifer Calf.

She was shown in the Maritime Fall Fair Cinderella Classic and was Champion Heifer Calf among all breeds.

Logan attended the National Beef Heifer Show with Highliner and was 1^st place and they placed in the semi-final for Junior Showmanship.
